I am Eleni Athanasiadou and I was born in Greece, in the mid-80s.\u00a0My career is being developed within a very<span style=\"text-align: left;\"> interesting <\/span>field; take a quick look around you, and you\u2019ll understand what I\u2019m talking about: the environment! I hold a 5-year diploma in Environmental Engineering and an MSc in \u201cWater Resources and Environment\u201d. However, what I do for a living is not just a profession to me, but reflects my attitude towards life. Environment and humanity are interdependent and tightly connected like a chain.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The field of interest of an environmental engineer is quite wide. It includes management and remediation of water resources, hydrology, hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, hazardous waste management, wastewater treatment,\u00a0renewable energy resources, soil improvement and remediation technologies etc. The fact we contribute in so many diverse environmental issues, indicates the significance of our expertise and knowledge in this field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Mental Environmental <\/em>was created by a genuinely urge of mine to communicate with people with similar environmental concerns, exchange thoughts, beliefs and ideas that cannot fit in 140 letters or a status update.
